Citi stock sank below $4 yesterday, then nudged up past the $5 mark this morning, in response to today’s Wall Street Journal report that Citi’s board was considering a sell-off of some or all of its segments.
Ooops! Investors just realized it’s not a seller’s market for financial companies. Back goes the stock to three-and-change.
